This is a sketch I did in Canyon De Chelly in Arizona. What a beautiful place! So mysterious and wonderful. It was rainy season there so believe it or not the desert was blooming (and so were the mosquitos!). I took some creative license and if you look real close you can see some of the pictographs that were inscribed nearby. Thanks to Redwing Nez for his hospitality. It was truly unforgettable.
