My Trip West

This is a sketch I did in Canyon De Chelly in Arizona. What a beautiful place! So mysterious and wonderful. It was rainy season there so believe it or not the desert was blooming (and so were the mosquitos!). I took some creative license and if you look real close you can see some of the pictographs that were inscribed nearby.
Thanks to Redwing Nez for his hospitality. It was truly unforgettable.

My Summer Vacation

Well, it's been a week since I got back from my awesome summer out west. Nearly 3 weeks spent exploring the Eastern Sierras, Grand Canyon, and Navajo Land. This after 8 weeks spent at Summer Camp on the waterfront! Truly, truly inspiring. I'll be posting some of my sketches as soon as I can get them scanned and loaded up. In the meantime, here's one from the portfolio to tide you over.
